Azienda Agricola Agricoccinella is located in the upper Maremma between the sea of Torre Mozza and the park of Montioni in the immediate vicinity of the municipality of Follonica in the locality of Scopicci, Riotorto. In its 18 hectares it produces typical local products such as extra virgin olive oil, wine, fruit and vegetables and preserves. In 2012 Agricoccinella created an Agricamping open from spring to the end of autumn. In 2017 he created a room for the processing of fruit and vegetables in which preserves are produced with all the seasonal production of the company. Agricamping is the farmhouse dedicated to campers who want tranquility, contact with nature and the territory. Agricamping Agricoccinella offers 25 pitches equipped with all the necessary services such as drinking water and electricity, there is of course the area for unloading light and dark water and loading drinking water. In 2017, the farm also set up a barbecue area and a play area for the little ones. Agricamping Agricoccinella has ample access and ample parking. Near our structure there is the 'Riva Toscana' golf course. Pets are welcome under the owner's responsibility. We are members of the Plein Air Club. A direct sale of all our production and related products is also available and there is a petrol station just 400 meters away. In addition, for our customers just 50 meters away there is a tobacco bar at prices reserved for our customers. The nearest beach is Torre Mozza, just 900 meters away, which can be reached by bike, on foot or by car. A shuttle service is also available for our customers. On the farm there are several small roads for walks through olive groves and vineyards to be done on foot or by bike that can also be rented at our facility, all to fully enjoy your farm holiday. A 16 km route starts from our farm that crosses the Montioni park that can be tackled by trekking, MTB or horseback. The beating heart of our farm is its olive grove with 2500 trees in production, 500 of which are centuries-old, which every year give an oil with a strong and decisive taste typical of the Maremma, excellent for preparing bruschetta or tasty dishes typical of this land. Enriched with Agricoccinella oil, the dishes take on a unique flavor! Agricoccinella has 3 hectares of vineyards, both autochthonous, typical of the area, such as Sangiovese, and Merlot and Vermentino vines. The gentle hill on which the vineyard is located enjoys a breathtaking view of the island of Elba, almost in the center of the Gulf of Follonica, which in addition to giving a beautiful sunset every day, gives our vineyards the ideal climate, temperate and ventilated due to the proximity of the sea. Our fruit and vegetables can count on 4 hectares of fertile land all cultivated without the use of greenhouses as we believe that each product should be consumed at its time of year. We produce all the seasonal things typical of our area: from fennel in winter to legumes, such as broad beans, in spring and all the products that summer gives us, such as eggplants, tomatoes, chillies, zucchini, etc. A space has also been dedicated to aromatic herbs arranged next to direct sales that give aromas and flavors. Agricoccinella has a small chicken coop of mixed breed laying hens such as Tosca, Nera and Livornese. The Livornese is the typical pullet of the area, an excellent producer of white eggs, it has a lively and very active character. Our chickens are all raised in the open air and feed only on grains and what nature offers them, this to obtain a quality product. At night, to protect them from nocturnal predators such as foxes, they return to their refuge until dawn. Come and taste one of our eggs! Agricoccinella's street food was born from the desire to create something new and unique thanks to the use of high quality raw materials grown in our land and our productions (such as our preserves and our olive oil), but also through the selection and use of products from strictly local farms with which we collaborate in the area. It all started by chance one evening from an advertisement for the sale of a food truck, which would eventually become our kitchen. We spent days equipping it and enriching it with everything we needed to be able to offer our customers top street cuisine. In addition to sandwiches, which are never banal, we offer platters, salads picked from our gardens, washed, seasoned and served; fruit salads and homemade desserts to rediscover the pleasure of simple dishes. Fried foods are also the protagonists: at zero meters, they pass from the garden to the boiling oil and finally to our plates. We are operational from breakfast to aperitif, passing from lunch to snack even for the little ones. At breakfast, for example, there will be tarts stuffed with our jams, spoon desserts, and even zabaglione made with eggs from our hens. In addition, we will organize evenings during the summer not to be missed!
