They are authentic places, where the seasons can be felt in the scents of the air and in the rhythms of everyday life. 👉 Tip: Stroll through the historic center of Vilminore di Scalve and stop at a bakery to enjoy spongada, a fluffy dessert traditional of the area. ❄️ Winter between skiing, snowshoeing and snow-covered woods: During the cold season, the valley is transformed into a postcard landscape. In Schilpario there are some of the most beautiful Nordic ski slopes in the Italian Alps, as well as itineraries for snowshoeing and ski mountaineering. 👉 Tip: If you love cross-country skiing, explore the Pista degli Abeti: a technical track immersed in a beautiful pine forest, regularly groomed and also suitable for beginners.
