Lecco, a provincial capital of Lombardy, is located in the southern part of Lake Como just at the point where the river Adda flows into the Lake. His village is 214 meters above sea level in a plain behind which lies the Monte di San Martino and East Resegone. If you do visit town things to visit the Villa Manzoni that today is also the seat of the Civic Museum, the Tower, the castle of the Visconti, the Palazzo Belgioioso. Also thanks to its excellent location is also an important tourist and in fact in the area there are many accommodation facilities and bathing facilities. Lecco is located on an alluvial deposit, in a Valley bounded by the foothills of the Alps and Lake Lario, at the point where the Lake ends and the Adda resumes its course then again in Lake Garlate. The town is crossed by three rivers, the Gerenzone the Caldone and Bion. The mountains surrounding the natural Valley where lies the inhabited are: to the North the mountain Coltignone (also called San Martino), East mount two hands, the lace d'erna and Resegone, South on Magnodeno. To the West, on the right bank of the river Adda lies mount Barro. Sull'adda near ponte Azzone Visconti lies the small island Viscontea.
