Lake Tovel – Trentino-Alto Adige. Emerald waters in the heart of the Adamello Brenta Park. Lake Tovel is located in Val di Non, at 1,178 meters above sea level, and is one of the most scenic alpine lakes in Trentino. It is accessible, shaded and well signposted, with benches, natural beaches and viewpoints ideal for a contemplative break. 👉 Tip: Bring a water bottle and something to munch on - every corner is an invitation to stop and stay a little longer. 🌲 Wild and protected nature: Lake Tovel is located in one of the most protected areas of Trentino, where you can still meet animals such as deer, eagles and, in silence, even the brown bear. The area is devoid of invasive tourist settlements: here the landscape dominates. 👉 Tip: Visit the Park Visitor Center just above the lake: explain the ecological value of the area with interactive tours. 🍽️ Simple lunches with alpine flair: Around the lake and along the access road there are refuges, mountain huts and refreshment points where you can enjoy mountain cuisine: dumplings, soups, fresh cheeses, apple desserts and zero-km products. 👉 Tip: Try a slice of buckwheat cake with local blueberries - simple, authentic, perfect. 🏡 Sleeping in Val di Tovel and surroundings: It is not possible to stay overnight directly on the lake, but you can find hospitality in the nearby valleys of Tuenno, Cles and Val di Non.
