A farmhouse must always be able to offer the best of local dishes, and the Campolerose farm on a culinary level is unbeatable, the watchwords are quality quantity and convenience. The quality of the ingredients is unbeatable, all genuine and guaranteed local products prepared with skill by chef Antonio Tedesco, who has years of experience behind him. Enjoy a hearty meal where you will take a tour of all the flavors of the place, tasting the typical products and discovering the culinary traditions, all in a convenient way. The dishes offered by the Campolerose farm are prepared with selected local ingredients, some are produced directly inside the farm such as vegetables. The figure of the farmer and the shepherd, works that have been very common in the history of the Mercure Valley and are still today, have greatly influenced the cuisine. The basic ingredients are common vegetables and typical vegetables such as the Red Eggplant of Rotunda, product D.O.P., the Fagiolo Poverello I.G.P., or dairy products such as Paddraccio (fresh goat cheese), or the wide variety of cured meats such as suppressed, neckline, sausage ham and many others. The Campolerose farm is a licensed producer of the Red Aubergine of Rotonda D.O.P. All these ingredients are expertly blended by chef Antonio Tedesco, who manages to create an alchemy that will not be forgotten very easily. The Campolerose Farm has 4 comfortable rooms, of which 2 can become a mini apartment, all with bathroom, recently renovated as the whole property. They come with plenty of comforts, plus you'll have great views of the Mercure Valley and the Pollino Massif Mountains. The Campolerose farmhouse has a total of 11 beds, available all year round. In each room there are private services with shower, they are all equipped with TV and a fridge, and all reached by Wi-Fi signal. A great solution to stay overnight at the foot of the Pollino Massif, to leave for excursions to do within the Park and a few minutes from Rotunda and Viggianello. After spending a day in the magnificent places of Pollino National Park and eating the dishes of the chef of the Masseria, there is nothing better than to rest in a cozy place like our rooms, which will allow you to recover your strength to face a new day to discover new things around the Park. We are also a teaching farm. In fact, there is a process of welcoming and educating school groups, in which the opportunity is offered to learn about the activities of our company and the rural environment in which we find ourselves.
